Flu Fighters is a new volunteer initiative spearheaded by NYC Service and the NYC Department of Health & Mental Hygiene. Flu Fighters will mobilize hundreds of volunteers to conduct outreach activities at senior centers, houses of worship, schools, community events and other community hubs in New York City to raise awareness about influenza and the importance of getting vaccinated.

NYC Service and Citizens Committee for New York City invite you to lead a group of volunteers to apply for a block transformation grant through Love Your (NYC) Block. The grant includes a $500 cash award along with support from multiple City agencies including NYC Service and the Departments of Parks, Transportation, and Sanitation. Your group will be able to choose from a menu of frequently requested City services to improve your neighborhood.
