Seeking NYC or Buffalo -based Executive Assistant for our USA Managing Director

Our thriving global arts not for profit is seeking a New York or Buffalo-based Executive Assistant for our USA Managing Director who resides in Buffalo and oversees a team in NYC. Based in the United Kingdom and the United States, Artfully AWARE (AfA) is comprised of individuals united by their passion for international arts education and community development. With a busy schedule that includes frequent projects, AfA's USA Managing Director seeks a dependable, outgoing individual able to work well with others to assist the organization in fund-raising, community outreach and to act as AfA's representative at select meetings and conferences. With our programs currently operating in the U.S., U.K. and Africa, this position is ideal for a motivated individual looking to gain experience in the arts, education and development realms. A strong writer with standout communication skills and the ability to liaise remotely via telephone and email, the successful candidate will be as excited by the prospect of using the arts to enrich, educate and empower individuals and communities as we are. This opening represents an excellent opportunity to work with a registered 501(c)(3) Public Charity.

The successful candidate will combine an outgoing and personable demeanour with strong time-management skills and an ability to work independently. An interest in the arts and a knowledge of their impact and importance and a willingness to give and receive constructive feedback, will help the Executive Assistant gain valuable business-related skills in exchange for being involved with a socially-committed and progressive arts organization with a genuinely international outlook and staff.
