Adopt A Grandparent Program needs volunteers

Adopt A Grandparent Program is seeking volunteers to enhance the lives of elders living in the Cobble Hill Center nursing home. The purpose of Adopt A Grandparent Program says it all in the name: to promote productivity, to reinforce independence and dignity of our elders. Volunteers must be at least eighteen years old and older. Volunteers must have a recent annual and tuberculosis test. After completing an application, there is a 30-40 minute orientation and a personal interview as part of the screening process.
