Description
Emmaus House of Harlem has been serving the poor and homeless for over 43 years. It's founder, Fr. David Kirk went to Harlem on the advice from Dorothy Day, the founder of the Catholic Worker. Sadly, Fr. David Kirk died of kidney failure in July 2007. Those who worked with Fr. David, and those whose lives had been profoundly changed by his work continue his work with the poor and needy of Harlem, NY. E
