About this volunteer opportunity
Description
Volunteers assist elderly patients on the Acute Care for Elders unit. Volunteers are specially trained to aid patients with feeding, ambulating, therapeutic activities, daily exercise and relaxation techniques. Training provided. Available daily 8 a.m. - 9 p.m.
Requirements
Volunteers must be at least 14 years of age and have a strong desire to work with the elderly population. Volunteers must commit to at least four hours per week.
