Job Shadowing Field Trips

Description: The Way to Work is seeking professional and committed volunteers to invite program participants to their work site and guide them on how their field works. For one day, participants accompanied by The Way to Work staff will see firsthand the industry in action. Qualified candidates will have the opportunity to make an impact on our young adults (17-24 years old) conveniently at their work site, easing scheduling issues. Volunteers should be at least 24 years old. This is a one day opportunity for about five hours. Although our program trains in healthcare, office support, security and green industries, these field trips are to allow career exploration. You choose a day that works for you in advance and we will do our best to accommodate you within the training schedule. Available positions: 40 (ongoing)
