Shape Up New York is a free fitness program for all ages. We are currently looking for additional instructors to help out with our programs in Upper Manhattan and the Bronx. Volunteer opportunities are available for a variety of classes and activities, including aerobics, Zumba, yoga and pilates. Volunteers must have some experience as a fitness instructor, and once accepted, will have the opportunity to shadow a current instructor before leading their own classes.

This position offers a lot of flexibility and creativity for enthusiastic volunteers interested in giving back to their communities and addressing pressing health issues such as diabetes and obesity.
