Description
Met Council is one of New York's largest human services agencies, providing 100,000 New Yorkers with critical services in their fight against poverty and its effects every year. In honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Met Council is organizing a volunteer project to create an indoor garden at one of our low-income senior residences in New York City. Volunteers should be passionate about service and willing to get their hands dirty! Wear appropriate clothing for construction and gardening.
