Mentors needed. Be a role model today!

Broadway Housing Communities (BHC) is looking for volunteer on-site Junior High or High School mentors for its Dorothy Day after school program. Dorothy Day is located at 583 Riverside Drive, on the corner of 135th Street. Mentors must be available one night per week, either Tuesday or Thursday. They must be willing to commit to be here to tutor give SAT help, play games, go on trips, hang out and learn about their mentee, a young person who will be a resident of our building.

Our young people will range in age from 11-17 years old. Mentors must be available one night per week for 1 and a half hours and be able to commit for at least 6 months.
