About this volunteer opportunity
Description
Volunteer(s) will assist non-English Speaking Patients by advocating for the patient, familiarizing non-English speaking patients with the hospital process, escorting patients, assisting patients with documentation and interpreting for non-English speaking patients.
Requirements
Volunteers should be bi-lingual Spanish, Chinese (Cantonese or Mandarin, Bengali,French, Russian, Polish or Tibetan and have an interest in working with patients. Volunteers will receive training.
