Skilled Volunteers to help with Rebuilding Together NYC projects

We are looking for skilled volunteers - plumbers, electricians, carpenters - that can help us with specific aspects of our projects. For example, we rehabilitated a home in Jamaica, Queens in May of 2009 in collaboration with a carpentry program. There were plumbing issues at the home that needed to be addressed as well, and one of our plumbing volunteers spent a day to get the water running for the family. It was a tremendous help.

Our skilled volunteers will be called when needed, and based on review of the project scope can decide whether it is a project on which they can help.
