Volunteer Computer Teacher - School for immigrants

Progressive, friendly nonprofit NYC school is seeking a volunteer Computer teacher or assistant teacher. Please be bilingual (English and Spanish) We are an all-volunteer organization. Our students are adults; most speak Spanish, with varying levels of English ability. We need someone who can teach one evening per week, Wednesdays or Thursdays, from 6 PM until 9 PM. Additional time is needed for lesson planning and preparing materials. Volunteers should be bilingual (English and Spanish) and be available one evening per week, Wednesdays or Thursdays, 6 - 9 PM. Some teaching experience would be nice, but not essential. We strive place experienced teachers with inexperienced or less experienced teachers whenever possible. The ideal teacher is energetic, independent, and creative, with good communication skills and a positive attitude.
