Visit Residents at Coler Goldwater Hospital

We are looking for dedicated volunteers to visit patients at the Coler Campus of the Hospital on a weekly or bi-monthly basis. There are two different opportunities to do this. We are forming a group to visit two Wednesdays a month beginning at 6:30pm. Coler Goldwater is a City Hospital and as such has requirements for all volunteers. 1. Record of Immunization (can be obtained from an Internist/PCP) 2. Annual PPD (can also be obtained from an Internist/PCP or the hospital). 3. Hospital volunteer form. 4. Clearance from the Hospital Occupational Health Department. Appointments can be arranged on a flexible basis once Hospital volunteer form is submitted. 5. Compassion and a commitment to improve the lives of less advantaged fellow New Yorkers.
