Volunteer opportunity description
Queens Pride House
76-11 37th Ave, Suite 206
Commitment: Minimum of one 2 hr shift/ week
Why volunteer for QPH?
This is a wonderful opportunity to get to meet new people in both Queens and in the LGBTQ community. Our volunteers work directly with QPH staff and are part of a close knit and supportive team which greatly appreciates your support! It's also a great way to get some new skills and experiences in an open and accepting environment. Volunteers are a valuable part of our team who’s opinions are valued highly.
Why We Want You:
The Queens Pride House has a very busy schedule and serves a large and diverse clientele with a small staff. In these circumstances, we are always looking for additional support to help us do everything from greet and direct clients during our drop-in hours and attend to our phone lines to running special events and groups. There is a substantial room for growth for those volunteers who are dedicated and willing to make the commitment.
