Blood Drive Ambassador Volunteer

A blood drive Ambassador volunteer is an integral member of the blood collection team.  The volunteer may meet and greet blood donors and explain registration form and provide information.  The volunteer may escort donors post donation to the refreshment area.  The volunteer may monitor donor safety in the refreshment area watching for post donation reactions, ensuring the donor is drinking fluids.  As well as providing a safe and pleasant post donation experience. 

*Blood drives occur throughout the year and across the five boroughs. Volunteers and donors are needed all year long. 

Volunteers must be able to relate to the public and respond to concerns and questions of the donors and provide excellent customer service to the donors.  Must be flexible - willingness to perform different job functions as requested by the person-in-charge.   Willingness to travel to various locations.
