English as a Second Language Instructor

Our English as a Second Language program provides high quality, interactive instruction to a diverse student body. We seek to increase students' language skills, confidence in speaking and comprehension of English. Volunteers are needed to teach one 2 1/2 hour class per week. The school term runs April 16 - June 21. Classes are held Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday, 9:30am-12:00pm and Tuesday & Thursday, 6:15pm-8:45pm. Training and supervision are provided but volunteers will need to spend time preparing weekly lesson plans for their class and writing brief summaries of student progress.
