Grant Researcher and Writer

Overall Responsibilities: 

* Research potential funders; 

* Compose proposals. 

Specific Duties: 

* Work with Executive Director to establish funding needs and priorities; 

* Research; 

* Identify new foundation, corporate, and government prospects;

* Research prospects; 

* Stay informed of current issues in disaster management, disaster funding, and active disaster sites;

* Grant Writing; 

* Write narrative grant sections;

* Compile and mail grant proposal pieces per guidelines; 

* Writing letters of intent.
