Volunteer opportunity description

Office of Citywide Health Insurance Access would like to conduct a survey with a variety of small businesses across the five boroughs to learn about the health insurance practices of the small business community in New York City and their extent of knowledge about the Federal Health Care Reform.  The survey would be a questionnaire conducted in-person.  We hope the survey results will inform us about the difficulties and challenges small businesses face when looking for health insurance for their business and their employees so we can better inform our outreach strategies and assist business with connecting to health insurance and care.  Participants will receive a basic "Health Insurance 101" orientation before conducting the survey.

Requirements

Undergraduate and graduate students in health-care related field are preferred.
