Planting Trees, wildflowers and shrubs OH MY!

Join us for a day of planting, the Van Cortlandt Forest Restoration team with teach you how to plant trees, wildflowers and shrubs....OH MY!

Great family time,  All ages WELCOME!

By 2015 we would have amended the wooded acreage as follows: seventy percent would be restored; invasive plants would constitute less than fifteen percent of the plant population; and a diversity of native plants would be established and in succession towards viable plant communities. 

Enthusiasm!

Students earn Community service hours.

We will supply all tools and KNOWLEDGE needed.

Dress appropriately long sleeves shirt and pants highly recommended.
