THE HARLEM ARTS FESTIVAL is a free annual festival presenting Harlem-based music, dance, theater, and visual arts. Taking place at the Richard Rodgers Amphitheater in Marcus Garvey Park June 29-30, 2012, we invite the community to celebrate Harlem’s vibrant cultural landscape and contemporary artistry. We are looking for volunteers to help in a number of areas, from greeting to production support to artist support to kids' activities, and more! Descriptions of available volunteer positions are listed below. Requirements

 

Merchandise for Harlem Arts Festival JUNE 29/30

Volunteers with an interest in sales and retail should sign up to manage the sale and distribution of festival merchandise. On sale will be HAF tee shirts, tote bags, posters, and magnets. Volunteers should be trustworthy and accurate in recording inventory and cash flow. Reports of total sales and breakdown by item will be due at the close of the festival. Volunteers will be responsible for set up and break down of merchandise tent.
