World Cares Center is looking for an Artist that has experience with creating murals.

The Safety Mural Project takes place in New York, on September 26th.

World Cares Center's mission is empower local communities through disaster response training and coordination.

As part of our programs, World Cares Center developed The Safety Mural Project along with symbolizing the participants' commitment to the wellbeing of their neighbors and the World Cares Center spirit of togetherness. The murals will bring attention to the safety and preparedness initiatives that benefit each member of the community.

The project will entitle two murals, each with different themes focusing on safety and emergency readiness.

Sketching will be done in advance of the mural painting project.

World Cares Center is seeking:

  • Dedicated artists with experience in sketching and painting are encouraged to apply;
  • Must be comfortable painting on wall or canvass;
  • You do not need to be a professional artist to participate in this program;
  • Artist must be available the day (4 hours) of the project to assist with the completion of the Mural;
  • Artist must also provide written instructions for participants to help with painting of Mural.
