CCC Soup Kitchen Sign In Volunteers

Cathedral Community Cares provides an array of support services to those in need. These include a Nutrition, Health, and Clothing Center that provides professional and emergency clothing through The Clothing Closet program and a Sunday Soup Kitchen that provides a breakfast, lunch, and take-away meal every week.

In order for Cathedral Community Cares staff to keep informed of the number of people served each week in our Sunday Soup Kitchen, two to four volunteers are needed to sign in clients as they enter the soup kitchen in the mornings from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM every Sunday. This information is vital to keep our organization aware of the population we are serving in our soup kitchen and any changes our staff needs to make in order to best accommodate them.

Because of the nature of the people served, volunteers should be comfortable working directly with a highly vulnerable population. We are particularly interested in individuals who have a strong passion for helping the under-served and are available to work with us every Sunday morning. Bilingual Spanish volunteers are encouraged to apply.

Volunteers must be 18 years or older
