2012 Annual Career Seminar

SEO Scholars is a rigorous, year-round, out-of-school academic program that prepares motivated low-income public high school students to get to and through America’s competitive colleges and universities, serving students in New York City and San Francisco.

In two large-scale events each year, College Scholars participate in small roundtable discussions with professionals from a variety of industries to explore career possibilities and develop networking skills. 

We are currently seeking volunteers to attend a fun Speed Networking event at our Annual Career Seminar to be held on Saturday August 4^th. Since we have over 100 students who have signed up to attend this event, we need many volunteers from various industries, please see below for additional details and do not hesitate to contact me with any questions!

Speed Networking
with the SEO College Scholars

Saturday, August 4th from 2:00–4:00 PM
NYU Law School - Vanderbilt Hall, 40 Washington Square South, New York, NY

As part of a full day of career workshops, small groups of students will learn about career paths and practice networking as they rotate through conversations with a variety of professionals who are eager to help them succeed!

The current SEO College Scholars are interested in many different fields, so PLEASE share this with friends/colleagues who enjoy working with young people and might wish to participate!  We’re looking for:
