Tutor for Urban Young Adult Workforce Development Program

Year Up New York is a unique, year-long education and corporate internship program that prepares urban young adults for professional careers and higher education. Our tutors ensure that every student has the high support needed to meet the high expectations set by the program.

You should have:

--Knowledge and experience in math and writing areas
--One hour a week time commitment from 3:45 to 4:45
--Positive and constructive communication skills
--Ability and desire to work with urban young adults (ages 18-24) from
diverse backgrounds

Tutors are needed at both of the Year Up New York sites:
--Brooklyn: 9 Dekalb Avenue
--Manhattan: 55 Exchange Place
