Volunteer opportunity description
Tutors are needed this season (Spring 2013) from March 4th through May, 22nd (12-weeks).
-As a tutor you will be matched to a young person (1 to 1) to support their learning needs in reading, writing and/or math. Our students who need help are between 5th and 12th grade.
- Tutoring sessions are 90-minutes once per week, after school.
- Tutor sessions are held on Mondays or Wednesdays and are scheduled between 4:00-6:00 pm.
-Training and support will be provided.
-Professional staff on-site for guidance and support.
Requirements
Tutors must be 16 years of age or older. Adults are welcomed.
