Distribute food to the Hungry of Staten Island
About this volunteer opportunity
Description
We at Community Health Action of Staten Island are looking for volunteers to help with our food pantry. Our volunteers will help with the packing and distributing of grocery bags for our clients. We started our pantry just over a year ago and we have grown to a capacity of feeding over 700 families per month.
Requirements
-We require strong individuals who can carry 10-40 lbs and can climb stairs. -Volunteers must sign a confidentiality form.
