Senior Script

SENIOR SCRIPT: Every week, Citymeals receives stacks of letters from our elderly meals recipients, thanking us for our service and sharing stories about their livers. Through this program, volunteers write back to our clients with a warm, personalized response. Our volunteers respond to the hundreds of thank you cards we receive from our seniors.

All volunteers are given an orientation prior to their volunteer project. The length and substance of the orientation is dependent on the nature of the service. Sporadic and one-time volunteers are a brief overview of the services that Citymeals provide. All volunteers must complete an application with two references. This process is waived for corporate, school and community groups.
