Volunteer Spanish Teacher

Centro de Educación de Trabajadores is a small nonprofit, all-volunteer ESL school ~ we also offer Spanish classes as a way of creating opportunity for cross-cultural understanding. Spanish teachers work one night a week, independently or in pairs, depending on the level of experience.

Must be fluent in Spanish. Some teaching experience would be nice, but not essential. What is necessary is a willingness to put time into planning your lessons. We strive to pair experienced teachers with inexperienced or less experienced teachers whenever possible and to support teachers at each level. The ideal teacher is energetic, independent, and creative, with good communication skills and a positive attitude. Teachers must commit to one evening per week, Mondays, Wednesdays or Thursdays, 6-9PM.
