Description

This service day is sponsored in part of the National Conference on Volunteering and Service (NCVS) 

Elizabeth Langely Memorial Garden was founded in Harlem in 1970, and is now managed by an active local group and residents from Iris House. Volunteers will plant herbs and flowers, build a gazebo, install a new grill, build planter boxes and replace diseased trees.

10am-2pm
Lunch will be provided
 

About NCVS

Nationally convened by the Points of Light Institute, the Corporation for National and Community Service, and locally convened by NYC Service and New Yorkers Volunteer, the annual event provides attendees with an opportunity to learn, connect, and be inspired through a wide range of exciting and informative plenary sessions, workshops, special events, service projects, exhibits, specialized corporate tracks and more.
 

Requirements
Volunteers must be at least 16 years old to participate. Please include your phone number when expressing interest in this opportunity.
