Volunteer opportunity description

Nobody forgets the first time they ever rode a two-wheeled bike.  The feeling of wind in their hair, freedom at their fingertips, and total complete independence is theirs!

You can help give this experience to other folks who haven't gotten the chance yet!  Thousands of New Yorkers never learned how to ride a bike and Bike New York offers free classes, teaching adults and kids all over the five boroughs how to ride.  Join up with the Bike Ed program by volunteering to help out at these classes.

The reward is in seeing your elated students cruising around for the first time, doing something they possibly never thought they would do.  You also get to get outside, meet other folks, join an community, and Bike New York rewards volunteers with parties, prizes, bike swag, and free entries to Bike New York rides.

Change someone's life!  Teach them how to ride a bike!
