Volunteer opportunity description

As the largest food pantry in Brooklyn, BSCAH offers a host of vital services to the over 11,000 clients we serve a month. Our goal is not simply to provide people with a satisfactory amount of food but to empower our families- this is where you can help!

BSCAH has its own urban farm that supplements our distribution of fresh fruits and vegetables to our hungry families. We need volunteers that are willing to work in the garden with our Garden Coordinator on two days: Mondays and Tuesdays. The times are flexible and depend on if the coordinator needs you to do anything in the garden. For more information about the times and volunteer duties, please contact Lucy Chen, the Garden Coordinator, at lchen@bedstuyagainsthunger.org.
