Bike New York is a 501(c)(3) non-profit cycling organization that promotes bikes and bike safety through events and education. We provide free classes in all five boroughs teaching adults and kids how to ride bicycles for the first time, and how to ride safely. Our hugely successful education program is growing to serve even more New Yorkers by offering classes in Spanish and Mandarin.
All we need are volunteer instructors like you! After a brief one hour training, you will learn everything you need to know about teaching anyone how to ride. Bring family and friends. The more the merrier!
Change someone’s life by teaching them the lifelong skill of riding a bicycle. And with your bilingual skills help us reach even more New Yorkers!!
Requirements
Ability to speak Mandarin or Spanish and English.
