Info Booth Greeters for Harlem Arts Festival JUNE 29/30

THE HARLEM ARTS FESTIVAL is a free annual festival presenting Harlem-based music, dance, theater, and visual arts. Taking place at the Richard Rodgers Amphitheater in Marcus Garvey Park June 29-30, 2012, we invite the community to celebrate Harlem’s vibrant cultural landscape and contemporary artistry. We are looking for volunteers to help in a number of areas, from greeting to production support to artist support to kids' activities, and more! Descriptions of available volunteer positions are listed below. Info Booth Greeters

Volunteers interested in working closely with festival attendees and providing friendly and knowledgeable service should sign up  this category. Volunteers with exceptional people and communication skills may be assigned to various posts throughout the position including greeters, info booth staff, or servers at VIP catered events. All volunteers will be provided with ample information about the festival and are charged with knowing the operations, location of each element, and background and history of the event. They may be asked to hand out festival collateral on the corner of 125th st, or various areas surrounding the park to direct the flow of traffic.
