Volunteer opportunity description

 

THE HARLEM ARTS FESTIVAL is a free annual festival presenting Harlem-based music, dance, theater, and visual arts. Taking place at the Richard Rodgers Amphitheater in Marcus Garvey Park June 29-30, 2012, we invite the community to celebrate Harlem’s vibrant cultural landscape and contemporary artistry. We are looking for volunteers to help in a number of areas, from greeting to production support to artist support to kids' activities, and more! Descriptions of available volunteer positions are listed below. Requirements

 

Medical for Harlem Arts Festival JUNE 29/30

 

Volunteers with a particular skill or interest in first aid, CPR, or other related medical service should volunteer in this category. Proof of certification will be required. Volunteers will be stationed in the medical tent and will attend to festival staff and attendees with medical concerns. Volunteers will work closely with the Mt. Sinai EMT service and Fire Department in case of medical emergency.
