Homes for the Homeless was founded in 1986 and established on the principle that family homelessness is first and foremost a poverty issue that diproportionately affects children.

As such, we have adopted a family-based, child-centered, education focused approach to all our programs and services.

Each Inn provides fully staffed counseling centers, daycare centers, classrooms, computer labs, after-school programs and playgrounds for families to use during their time as residents.
