The Visiting Nurse Service was founded in 1893 and is the nation's oldest and largest home health care agency.

Every day our nurses, rehabilitation specialists, social workers and home health aides make over 30,000 home visits.

We offer a range of services including acute care, long-term care, rehab, hospice, palliative care, Aids/HIV services, mental health services, and services for families with children who have chronic illnesses and disabilities. We provide approximately 20 million dollars in charitable care each year to patients who are unable to pay for services.
