Organization Details

To fulfill our mission, the office provides service-learning through field experience, community service and volunteerism both on and off-campus. By building a strong culture of civic engagement at the college, the Office of Community Outreach is striving to achieve the following goals: Student Oriented: Students will apply their academic knowledge through practical experience and real world situations;students will learn about career applications in community contexts; students will develop their social capital by working with community partners who can directly impact the student's future in the Criminal Justice system. As an office, we support and encourage students to work with organizations to address common concerns in their communities. These partnerships can take many forms, including: coursework, volunteer work and research.
