Organization Details

Nationally, SCORE has 10,500 volunteers who provide small business counseling and training through a network of 389 chapters. Known as the Counselors to America's Small Business, the professional men and women of SCORE have succeeded at management positions in corporations or as owners of their own companies. There are SCORE Chapters and Branches in all five New York City boroughs who need people with business experience to work with over 9,000 clients a year.

New volunteers receive extensive training in business plans, client financing, SBA programs, etc. in order to effectively counsel non-profits, start-ups and existing businesses.
