On of eight surviving pre-19th century buildings, The Mount Vernon Hotel Museum is located on Manhattan's Upper East Side on 61st Street between York and First Avenues.

The Museum promotes dissemination of historical knowledge through tours of its historic rooms, education programs, exhibitions, publications, lectures, symposia, and public programs.

Tours are offered to the public Tuesday through Sunday from 11 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. Programs for school aged groups are offered from Monday-Friday.
