The Genesis II International Museum of Black Culture demonstrates the universality, continuity and strength of black culture of the African Diaspora.

The Museum houses multiple galleries and exhibits, including the African Sculpture Court, the Egyptian and Haitian Galleries. Our exhibition is Black Godess: Achievements Against the Odds, which is on view through November 17th.

Our most significant programs include Museum Education Programs for Youths, Poets and Writers Workshops, Significant Elders, and Programs of Uptown Black Culture.
