Description & History
The Centro offers classes in English (ESL, ESOL), basic computer skills, and preparation for the citizenship exam. An all-volunteer teaching and administrative staff makes classes available at very low cost. With the addition of Spanish language classes, the Centro fosters a friendly community environment that promotes cross-cultural understanding and support. On Tuesday evenings we host an Intercambio. We also provide free legal advice for immigrants. Although founded by and for Latin American newcomers, we welcome immigrants from all over the world. Please note, email is the best way to contact us.
