Organization Details

In partnership with schools and community-based organizations, we deliver interactive educational programs in the areas of self-defense, personal finance, health, sexuality, sports, science and media literacy.

Programs are delivered with girls either during the school day or after school hours.

In addition to reaching girls with our strong, smart, and bold mission, we also support other youth serving organizations by facilitating staff development workshops and trainings for adults who work with girls.

Girls Inc. of NYC is an independent affiliate of the national organization, Girls Incorporated.

As such, we utilize programs developed at and evaluated by our National Research Center.
