Description & History
Fort Greene Park Volunteers works in partnership with NY City Department of Parks & Recreation and the Fort Greene Park Conservancy to improve the care and maintenance of the park. Individuals, community groups and corporations are encouraged to volunteer. Volunteer activities include caring for the gardens and grounds by weeding, planting, spreading mulch or compost, aerating the soil, or installing erosion control.
Other tasks include painting, cleaning, and assisting as needed.
