Description & History
Inwood Community Services, Inc is a non-profit community-based multi-service organization in the northern-most section of Manhattan.
Our services are organized in four categories: counseling, education, youth services, and community mobilization.
Our current programs include: Two fully-licensed mental health and substance abuse outpatient counseling clinics; a NYS top-rated English as a Second Official Language Program; several youth and summer programs including three DYCD funded OST afterschool programs, a NYS funded Advantage After-school Program, and two successful summer playstreets; and the UNIDOS Inwood Coalition, a Federally-funded mobilization initiative to reduce youth problem behaviors in the community at large.
