Description & History

The Father's Heart Ministries mission is to fight poverty and combat domestic violence. We designed programs to empower individuals to support themselves and "get off the food line" and to enable individuals and families to treat each other with love and respect.

Programs: SOUP KITCHEN/FOOD PANTRY: We serve a hot, all-you-can-eat meal to more than 600 guests each week in our Saturday Hunger Prevention Program (soup kitchen and food pantry) KIDZONE: on Tuesday nights, is a soup kitchen and open recreation area for children and youth to age 19.

Parents/caregivers are welcome also.

ALPHABET SCOOP: is an ice cream store where we make ice cream and train and employ youth in the life and job skills that will allow them to advance in their school and work endeavors. Teenagers receive classroom instruction and work under a mentor/manager, someone who oversees the operation of the shift and mentors the teen.

We also offer ESL classes every Saturday morning and Celebrate Recovery, a powerful 12-step recovery program, every Tuesday night.
