The Association offers the Open Airways For Schools program and Asthma Camp Experience to provide people with the skills necessary to understand and overcome asthma- the most prevalent form of lung disease in New York City affecting more than one million residents and 300,000 children.
To help fight nicotine addiction and tobacco-related illness, the Association offers the Not-On-Tobacco teen cessation program, Freedom From Smoking adult cessation program and assistance to local organizations with tobacco prevention.
The State Of The Air Report grades every county for ground-level ozone air pollution and particulate matter that puts millions of New York City residents at risk for respiratory complications.
