Description & History
The NYC Soil & Water Conservation District was created by the State law in 1990 and is a subdivision of the State government.
Our programs focus on sustainable management of storm water through green infrastructure, professional development in natural resource issues of the city for K - 12 teachers, and public outreach and education.
