Brooklyn Youth Sports Club

The Brooklyn Youth Sports Club (BKYSC) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit youth development initiative that assists promising inner-city youth in their pursuit of college enrollment. We use basketball as a vehicle to engage and inspire student-athletes to achieve academic excellence. Our educational services (Beyond Basketball) include individual tutoring, SAT prep, community service and other relevant educational support. Our basketball programs (Brooklyn Rens, Brooklyn Badgers) are committed to the teaching the fundamentals and principles of the game by stressing a commitment to teamwork, loyalty, and sportsmanship. Our student-athletes' participation depends largely on their respect for others, their character, and their level of commitment. We have a dedicated staff of coaches and tutors who are committed to providing the support and instruction that will develop our student-athletes into successful young men. We strive to develop a program that our players, their families, and our community can be proud of.
