| The Legacy Corporation | The Legacy Corporation, is dedicated to providing performing arts, after- school and educational programs to low income communities. Using our comprehensive understanding of individuals, community relations and economies, Legacy helps New York City public schools and families increase education standards in their communities. Our responsibility is to provide 10 to 22 year old children and young adults with programs and activities that instill a sense of responsibility, a sense of belonging, and a positive path for their future. Legacy promotes greater opportunity among young adults by providing programs responding to their needs. Our services are based on the principles of behavioral guidance and are intended to promote educational advancement, character development and leadership potential to its members. Legacy creates, funds, monitors, evaluates and supports schools and community based organizations through our programs. |
