Our Role

NYC Service promotes and stimulates volunteerism across NYC by bringing together the resources of the City to generate social impact. We work closely with public and private partners to facilitate meaningful cross-sector connections, provide thought leadership and technical advice around employee volunteer engagement, and, in some cases, organize and execute service projects.

Connections

NYC Service is the connector and conduit between the private and public sector. Our team facilitates connections between corporations and non-profits/city agencies to carry out days of service and volunteer engagement projects. In certain cases, NYC service will act as technical advisors for service projects and will plan curated days of service for select partners.

NYC Corporate Service Look Book

The NYC Service Corporate Service Look Book is a digital guide to the different volunteering opportunities that our nonprofit partners provide.

If you are a nonprofit and would be part of the Look Book, contact our Public Private Partnerships Coordinator Zarin Tasnim (ztasnim@cityhall.nyc.gov)
